New Korean Horror Anthology!
Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10:27AM
Here is the exciting trailer for the new South Korean horror anthology film Doomsday Book. Anyone that knows me will understand how extremely psyched I am to hear of this film, not only because Bong-Joon Ho and Pil-Sung Yim have something to do with it, but because anthology films are my absolute favorite sub-genre of horror films. Check out the trailer and let me know what you think... all though I already expect to see "amazing," "awesome," and "can't wait!" at least a dozen times!

WAIT! Before you go into the Korean Horror phase, I must tell you about this Japanese director I found named Koji Shiraishi. This man his literally given me faith back that the found footage general can be more than just the Quarantine's of the world. All he does are these macabre mockumentarys. The first movie I watched by him was, "The Curse" (Noroi 2005). You can watch it on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlOue4J1pvk
I just realized I just posted on your wall about this movie last year when I only saw it this year. Anyway the only good part of this film was the first story, which was kind of funny and self reflective on the Korean culture. The second, which features the infamous robot, was sadly a disappointment. Boring, pretentious, it was dry, preachy and a complete waste of time. Number three was forgettable. I had a better time smelling my finger.
